This is a recreation of the Door Patch from a New Jersey State Police Car , this is also the patch on both of the state's Med-Airlift Helicopters.... named: North-Star & South-Star.  Governor Christine Todd Whitman in the first year of office (as New Jersey's FIRST Female Governor) ordered the "Governors Helicopter" to be given to the Med-Airlift Department of the State police and converted into a third Med-Airlift Helicopter. This was done to help undo the overspending of former Governor Jim Florio.
